-Academic vocabulary sounds better because it makes a person sound more professional, and even a bit smarter. -There are usually other words to replace them but academic vocabulary sounds way better.

-Academic vovabulary is the manner in which words are used in more professional causes, without the use of slang. -It usually involves words that we would'nt use every day but is good to use in school and in our jobs. Academic vocabulary makes a person sound more professional.
3. Predict how academic vocabulary can help you be successful in your social studies classes as well as other academic classes?
-The teacher would most likely take one more seriously if they are spoken to correctly. It also shows that the person speaking knows what they are talking about and understands the topic. -On tests, academic vocabulary helps a person score higher, especially because academic vocabulary is usually part of the class vocabulary and is helpful to use to get better grades.

-Free rice, because it is something I used before and have gotten used to. I also like the fact that each time I get something right, rice is donated so it makes me want to try harder to get all the questions right.

Imply/Infer: They both say what one thinks about a subject, but when you infer you're directly saying it and implying is said through other words.
Bias/Point of View: They mean basically the same thing but bias is a bit more negative.
Evaluate/Assess: Evaluate is to find out the quantity of something and assess is the quality of something.
Point Of View/Perspective: They are both terms for describing the way someone sees something. Each person has a different point of view/perspective.
